Véronique, Chic in Lisbon …

Veronique Laranjo

If I were to define the style of a true French woman, especially a typical “Parisienne” … it would definitely be Veronique. We met during a Master in Fashion Marketing course at Esmod in Paris, and instantly hit it off during a marketing classes on brand image.

Simple and elegant, her look and image is more than perfect. Always chic, full of personality with a simple rock edge – she is always fashion forward! Not forgetting her signature high heels … tick-tock, tick-tock, tock-tock …

Her boutique could not be any different … Luxury designers, up and coming brands, vintage clothing and accessories all of which have been meticulously selected. “Veronique Boutique” is the reflection of a French lady who left Paris for love – of fashion, of a challenge, of her dream of creating something new in the heart of Lisbon…

The shop is a combination of her cool, fresh personality and her refined taste for beautiful things. Having spent seven years working in London for brands such as Marc Jacobs and Joseph, she moved to Paris to work for Prada, no less. With her experience with luxury brands and her free spirited London ethic, Veronique brought brands like Orla Kiely (one of my favorite brands!), Paul & Joe sister, See by Chloe, Corpus Christi (irresistible jewellery!) Mimous, Gris Neutre (Portuguese brands) to the trendy Chiado district of Lisbon.

Thanks to Veronique, I learned to recognize a beautiful pair of shoes, a designer handbag, the perfect cut to a blazer … and also to make fewer fashion errors (yes! fashion can be learned!) not to mention the list of astonishing hidden places, tips and ideas from this beautiful brunette. In her behavior, her choice of music, her passion for history and for photography, Veronique breathes fashion.Veronique Boutique Lisbonne

I would say that Vero and her boutique are living proof of an exemplary brand image:  Firstly, there is a soul, which distinguishes it, Secondly there is consistency between what she loves and what she sells, and finally its authenticity, which undoubtedly makes it so special and endearing. As a result, her boutique is one of those places where people return to experience  the best in fashion, but also to meet the ever chic, Veronique.
