Tara Jarmon: the dream of being Parisian

 The Parisian lady has always been an inspiring muse around the world for her chic, elegant and independent style. And one of the labels that portrays the style of this seductive woman is Tara Jarmon.

Tara Jarmon is not a Parisian, but a Canadian settled in Paris for more than 30 years who through her creations has been able to reveal the true spirit of “La Parisianne”.

Since the launch of her first collection in 1986, Tara has become one of France’s favorite fashion designers for her optimistic vision of the everyday life of a modern, active woman.

Inspired by the elegance and simplicity by its Audrey Hepburn icon, her pieces are feminine and romantic; full of unique details and playful colors that has become the trademark of the label.

New Flagship on the Champs Elyseé in Paris

After the fantastic shop on Rue Saint Honoré in Paris, Tara Jarmon transformed her previous boutique on Avenue Champs Elyseés into an huge flagship that matches the image of the brand: chic, modern, luxurious, but yet relaxed at the same time.

There are 3 floors where you can find all the emblematic universe of the brand: prêt-à-porter, handbags, shoes and accessories as well as “limited” creation. -This season, for example, there is the dress declined in 5 colours inspired by the movie “La La Land” which Tara Jarmon was invited to make a partnership in France, inspired by the clothes used by the character Mia played by Emma Stone.

The new space, as coherent as it is beautiful, has several cosy and refined rooms, such as a large Parisian apartment, a reference to French luxury. But the new store also marks a new step for the brand that never ceases to grow.

After 30 years of doing a wonderful job as head of her own label, Tara Jarmon leaves her studio of creation and passes her passionate view to a new Creative Director: Colombe Campana, (ex- & Other Stories) which should undoubtedly honour the modern and refined elegance so appreciated by its loyal clientele.
