Where does Japan, Brazil and Peru come together?
Answer – In a fashionable London restaurant.
Located on the 38th and 39th floors of Heron Tower, 110 Bishopsgate, SUSHISAMBA delivers a unique blend of Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian cuisine, culture, music and a view of the city of London that is simply breath-taking!
I went there to experience this “samba” for myself, it was fantastic! Brazilian music – and lots of Samba dance songs – hence the name of the restaurant that blends gastronomy of three countries… and..i really enjoyed it.
My first experience is when I arrived at the restaurant, which I thought was already amazing. You take the glass elevator and in a few seconds, you literally shoot up all 38 floors !
The reception staff were very friendly, but the first thing you want to do before settling at your table is to wander through the two floors of this glass tower to enjoy the views of London from all angles!
The atmosphere is “trendy” typically “City”… with the accustomed collection of diners, young and old, chic, trendy, original and very elegant too.
The menu seems a little bit complicated, but the result is amazing!
A mixture of flavours that creates quite unusual dishes. The cocktails are top! I recommend tasting the Sushi, the Ceviche, the “Moqueca Mista” (wonderful!) and the Samba rolls… you will not be disappointed. I promise you! And with that view – impressive at night – this is a special-occasion destination, definitely!
One tip, if you want a quieter atmosphere, book for the 8pm service, but if you prefer an atmosphere more “offbeat” book for 22pm..
