Le Bon Marché – “Made in Paris”

After celebrating Rio de Janeiro, Tokyo and the trendy New York neighbourhood of Brooklyn, “Le Bon Marché” and “La Grande Epicerie de Paris”, the left bank Parisian department store pays tribute to its own city – Paris.

From September 2nd to October 15th, you are invited to discover Paris seen through the eyes of exciting designers, who wonderfully reveal their vision of fashion and design in Paris.

It is an exhibition worthy of the most beautiful declarations of love made to the City. Christian Louboutin is the Guest of Honour and he has created for the occasion a time capsule collection, which groups about fifteen exclusive products, in homage to Paris.

From the ground floor to the top floor, Le Bon Marché will be transformed into a unique journey that will allow visitors to discover the exciting list of the upcoming creators and designers that include Geym Pigalle and Bill Good, Habit Cactus, House Château Rouge and Sézanne, and Body & Clyde lingerie. For jewellery and accessories, you will discover Louise Damascus, Aurélie Chadaine, Pairs in Paris and RSVP.

The whole experience will benefit from an innovative scenography imagined especially for the exhibition. Street-artist Fred Lechevalier has created a series of characters that shoppers will encounter throughout the store.

There will of course be a traditional touch with typical Parisian news-stands and also a dozen Parisian squares and streets to add that special atmosphere. From Chateau Rouge to Pigalle also passing by rue Verneuil – these mythical places are revisited through the exhibition and workshops.
