Sunglasses are the perfect example of a classic fashion accessory that you can wear again and again – all year round. But unlike my ordinary prescription glasses, I can’t resist the urge to buy several pairs of sunglasses throughout the year. And the first pair are for the annual skiing trip, where I make sure that they are sturdy, don’t fall off easily, yet fashionable.
Next is Spring, where I like to wear more discreet and formal designs. But my favourite time to buy my “shades” is in summer. This summer, the trend is for colourful lighter, frames, with many pretty patterns.
There are all my top brands and there are now even specialised shops that retail a fantastic selection.
It’s hard to decide with all the choice, but you can see below some of my favourites, like the retro XXL sized models or the butterfly shape… both these creative styles have become the stars of the sun accessories category. But some tempting alternatives are the retro-inspired round sunglasses, futuristic cat eyes models and the old classic – Aviators.
