Gigi Hadid’s shines with Messika’s Diamonds

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of Messika’s iconic “MOVE” collection, supermodel Gigi Hadid was invited to imagine and design a dream collection for the brand – with her modern and audacious style, called « Move Addiction ».

Graphics, rebellious, addictive …the exclusive creations in limited editions are made to shine as much as the famous top model herself. Necklaces, pendants, bracelets and earrings are fashioned in yellow, white or pink gold, quilted with a single stone or entirely paved with white diamonds.

It’s a 10-year celebration that seems to crown the international success of Valérie Messika and her beautiful jewellery. Valerie was drawn to precious stones at a very young age, since her father a recognized diamond trader. Her desire was to democratize the diamond – formerly reserved for big occasions – by imagining everyday jewellery to wear with jeans, a white shirt, a little black dress or a casual sweater. Her pieces – and those inspired by Gigi are perfectly destined for modern women who appreciate the unique and delicate pieces …

For the launch of this special collection, Valerie Messika and Gigi Hadid – invited guests to the exceptional “Hotel Salomon de Rothschild” in Paris during Fashion Week.

The glamourous gathering of 700 guests included some of the most beautiful women in the world. Natalia Vodianova, Barbara Palvin, Constance Jablonski, Mira Duma, Olivia Culpo, Aimee Song, Thylane Blondeau, and many more. During Paris Fashion Week, this was the ultimate occasion to celebrate the new collection “Messika by Gigi Hadid”.

Adding to the festivities, a wonderful menu was prepared by the Michelin-starred chef Akrame and the evening culminated with the presentation of an XXL “Move Birthday Cake” by the world-renowned pastry chef Pierre Hermé.

Late in the evening, the doors of Club Messika were opened where guests were invited to dance the night away to the tunes of DJ Bob Sinclar.
