An exhibition can reveal a passion. This is what happened to me when I went to the Museum of Luxembourg in Paris to see “René Lalique Jewellery exception 1890-1912.”
After that, I became a real fan of the art of René Lalique.
I love the Art Deco-inspired jewellery and perfume bottles, but also its modern creations such as tableware, furniture and architecture.
René Lalique did not know any limits. His boundless creativity transformed a simple object into an exceptional piece.
Visiting the Lalique boutique in Paris, I knew some surprises were in store. Besides the famous jewellery and perfume bottles, Lalique uses the same avant-garde spirit for the interior architecture.
A refined and elegant collection of furniture, lighting, decorative objects, which uses simple clean lines inspired by the creations of the artist and all the parts can be ordered customized.
The Lalique perfumes bottles are world renowned, some are even considered works of art. Therefore, each year, a new crystal perfume bottle is created – in limited edition.
You can choose the number available and if the bottles are not opened, they are considered a unique work of art.
But how could you resist not opening a Lalique perfume bottle? Lalique has the answer: they offer the same scent in a simple bottle that’s sold separately.
A little craftiness for lovers of Lalique creations.
