Alexander McQueen is undoubtedly one of the most prestigious English brands for its daring elegance and continues to seduce celebrities from all over the world for special occasions.
We cannot forget that in 2011, Kate Middleton wore a fantastic wedding dress made by the brand when saying “yes” to Prince William and since then, the Duchess of Cambridge is regularly seen wearing clothes and accessories signed Alexander McQueen.
Recently the first US first lady, Melania Trump wore Alexander McQueen to meet and greet Thailand’s prime minister and First Lady at the White House. The dress she chose to wear is part of the Autumn / Winter 2017 collection that has just arrived in stores. It’s a collection that is inspired by pagan landscapes, creative communities and the ancient traditions of Cornwall.
Colourful tweeds and threaded leather pay homage to the spiritual Wishing Tree, whilst silk dresses and embroidered accessories reference traditional Medieval needlework.
The fit and flare silhouette has become a style hallmark of the First Lady and match perfectly with McQueen style.
To finish the elegant look, Mrs Trump opted once again for customizing the visual with her signature stilettos, in this instance Louboutin heels rendered in dusty yellow suede.
This is just one of several occasions that the first American lady is seen using the iconic English brand.
